Every year, our student chapter participates in the Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) competing against other universities from Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.  PSWS serves as the regional competition for each of the engineering projects such as Surveying, Transportation, Sustainability, Geotechnical Wall, Concrete Canoe, Steel Bridge, Environmental, and so many more. ASCE chapters from different universities also compete in recreational activities and games such as volleyball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, tug-of-war, and scavenger hunt. PSWS 2023 will be hosted by California State University, Northridge.
