Every year, our student chapter participates in the Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) competing against other universities across the region. PSWS serves as the regional competition for each of the engineering projects such as Concrete Canoe, Environmental, Geowall, Steel Bridge, Surveying, Sustainability, Technical Paper, Timber Design, Transportation, and more. ASCE chapters from different universities also compete in recreational activities and games such as volleyball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, tug-of-war, and scavenger hunt.
